I’m a writer, a teacher, a vagabond dreamer, a rhymer and a stealer of old country songs. More importantly, I’m a father, a husband, a brother, an uncle, and a friend of desperadoes and ne’er do wells.
This website is a repository of stuff I’ve written over the last few years. It’s a work in progress and I’ll keep adding new stuff and old as I have time.
I am currently studying for a K-12 teaching license and second Master’s in Teaching English as a Second Language, to go with my Master’s in English as a First Language.
I’m married to Diane and dad to Cedar and Leif. I’ve taught classes in writing, journalism, ESL, canoeing, and “Pathways to Success” (as they say, those who can’t do, teach). My hobbies including walking, hiking, paddling, traveling, playing music and taking photos. I also write songs and have sung them in bars, churches and long term care centers.
I like to be on a trail, preferably out of earshot of machines, and close to fresh water.
