Valentine’s Day poetry

Diane showed me this Valentine’s card I gave her in New Zealand in 2007. I’m proud of this poem I wrote her:

Diane —

I’m glad you’re my valentine
and partner in crime
We’ll live a life of adventure
Until we’re in dentures.
Remember that night on the Milford
When I thought my boxers had been pilfered
By the twins with the phlegm?
Remember thegm?
Home will be that much more enjoyable
Now that you’re that much more employable.
I love you,
It’s true.
