Movie, book, jog

We watched “The Way” last night. Written and directed by Emilio Estevez, starring his dad, Martin Sheen, as a guy who fulfills his son’s dream of walking the Camino de Santiago in Spain. I loved it, and it made me want to walk the trail.

Still reading Bill Bryson’s “Short History of Nearly Everything,” and loving that, too.

Dropped Leif off for a 27-hour fast at church this morning then took a jog around the trails in Milaca (45 minutes) then came home and ran my trails (40 minutes). I guess I’m on track for a St. Pat’s Day 1/2 marathon in St. Paul.

Lovely sunny day. Sat by the river and listened to the open water babble and the ice crack.

Cedar’s at a speech meet, Diane’s at work this morning, Ele’s upstairs. All is well.
