Kunstler cast

If you think the economy is going to continuing on its downward spiral, and we’re soon going to reach peak oil, and life as we know it is going to change so drastically as to be unrecognizable, then you might enjoy the Kunstler Cast, a new podcast by James Kunstler, who wrote The Long Emergency and other stuff about the unsustainability of suburban sprawl.

Interesting social criticism, but as with any doomsayer, it’s hard to judge the accuracy of his predictions.

And when he talks about his post-apocalyptic novel, he makes this embarassing remark: This character I created is very interesting because…

Or something like that.

I guess you have to have high self esteem to be a prophet of doom these days.
